Beware of Fraudsters!
Attention! Dear users of the PeterStar Internet! At present Internet fraudsters frequently circulate e-mail letters with, for instance, the following text:
Dear User!
Unfortunately it is revealed that on your account double access to our server took place, i.e. 2 (two) users entered the system simultaneously using your account. As a result, it’s necessary to change your current access password. You need to answer this letter using the following format:
log: your login (user name for connection to the Internet)
op: your old password (password for connection to the Internet)
np1: your new password (password for connection to the Internet)
np2: your new password (password for connection to the Internet)
num: telephone number of the server which you reach and via which you then connect to the Internet
em: your e-mail
This data is to be placed at the beginning of your message. We would like to draw your attention that the new password should be repeated twice! This is necessary to accurately identify your account. It’s recommended to send your data until ...., for on the expiry of this term your account may be disconnected.
Such letters represent nothing else but a rude attempt to pick up your personal identification data.
Please remember that the Internet Provider has all your identification data (login, password etc) and never uses e-mail to clarify or change it.
P.S. Users themselves bear responsibility for their personal identification data safety.
